IPA USA

IPA USA specializes in postwar and disaster recovery operations and has established a special unit for Refugee Relief and Emergency Aid. Through this unit IPA USA is able to offer a full range of emergency services ranging from the supply of medical kits, blankets, water, and foodstuffs to tents, generators, vehicles, and building supplies. We can even create customized resettlement kits and deliver complete refugee camps on a turnkey basis.

IPA USA also has extensive field experience and a global network of advisors who provide advice on institutional development to countries in reconstruction as well as assessing the procurement capacity of governments and assisting in establishing procurement infrastructures under the Ministry of Health.

B & C Services Consulting is our business partner in Sierra Leone, and has cooperated with IPA Africa on the supply chain review this West African country. B&C Services Consulting is a Sierra Leone-based consulting firm with a well-balanced staff of Certified Chartered Accountants, and Business and Management Consultants.
As a new firm, they have gradually established themselves in the Sierra Leone market and built up a reputation for quality service delivery, and professionalism in all their assignments, which include work funded by the World Bank, the African Development Bank, the European Union, various United Nations agencies, USAID, and local and international NGOs.

PLACID Consultancy Limited
PLACID is our business partner based in Zambia. IPA worked with one of their partners on a procurement audit in Malawi in 2011.
PLACID Consultancy Limited is a company registered in Zambia as a limited liability, incorporated on 8th April 2010. Prior to that, each of the partners had respective full-time jobs that they held and were only able to do such assignments part-time under KLS Global Solutions founded in 2005. It was during their respective public and private services that each got skills and experiences that are invariably put to good use today.

IPPU
IPA Africa is an active member of the Institute of Procurement Professionals of Uganda (IPPU).
The Institute of Procurement Professionals of Uganda (IPPU) is a professional body that was established to bring together both the Public and Private sector professionals in Uganda. The idea to form IPPU was because of the growing concern to have in place an institutional self-regulating framework, which could ensure that Procurement professionals and practitioners in Uganda conducted themselves professionally and maintained best procurement practises in carrying out their work.
